Mark Your Calendars: Best Salesforce Events Nov 22, 2021 — Nov 26, 2021

Monday, November 22, 2021

Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday here in the States, I only have 1 event for you. Just 1. Our recap of last week is a longer read. So sit back, open up your calendars, and let’s get planning!

On Tuesday, November 23, Salesforce is keeping to the overall Thanksgiving message of giving and will host Leadership Conversations: Generosity in Times of Crisis. Starting at 11am (CET), you’ll hear about the latest findings from a survey about giving during the pandemic, what this means for nonprofits, and how your organization can drive generosity. This survey had over 50 scholars over 20 countries participating and researching on how generosity changes depending on where they live and how COVID-19 has affected them, so you know this information is solid stuff. Be aware, it does show the registration information in a different language, however it does look like English will be an option when attending the event.

Recap

Last week we had another UN SD Goal event, Child Labour in the Extractives Sector, to raise awareness “on the importance of the eradication of child labour and inspire action,” with this particular session focusing on childern in the minning and quarries sectors around the world. The AppExchange Pitch-Off: A Celebration of Entrepreneurship brought together Salesforce Acceleration and Business Builders to tell stories of resilience and success. Salesforce had the first episode, Marketing Trail Guide to More Personalized Nonprofit Communications in their digital Trail Guide Series, which is to provide nonprofit attendees with educational content, tools, and skills to put them in the right direction, as well as the technology to succeed.

We had another Stories of Resilience: A Conversation with Baron Davis event, where the speakers talked about using their platforms to empower small businesses and communities, and business strategies that viewers can use to connect with their team, customers and communities. We wrapped up the week with the Irvine, CA Salesforce Women in Tech group who hosted Top Tips for Passing a Certification, giving viewers some insider tips on how to pass a certification. Tweet us @mkpartners and let us know what your favorite event was!

Also, make sure to let us know if you think there are any events worth mentioning and what event you are excited about this upcoming week. And, as always, we will see you in the cloud!
