Mark Your Calendars: Best Salesforce Events Dec 13, 2021 — Dec 17, 2021

Tuesday, December 14, 2021

We are officially at that time of year where most business and people slow down, however that doesn’t mean our events are slowing down! Once again I had so many events I had to pick my favorite. So sit back, open up your calendars, and let’s get planning!

We have two great events starting the week off! On Tuesday, December 14 at 9am (PST) you, my readers, have options! Our first event, How Data-Driven Nonprofits CMO’s are Addressing Today’s Challenges to Drive Engagement, is a roundtable discussion with nonprofit CMO’s from around the world! According to the 2021 State of Nonprofit Marketing Report “ 89% of nonprofit marketers have already changed their digital strategy for this year” and this webinar will use this report as the centerpiece to their discussion. The panel will discuss the quickly shifting landscape of nonprofit marketing, overcoming challenges from the last few years, and adapting new digital strategies and success metrics.

Our second event is a Tableau event and is only 45 minutes long. Data Driven Sustainability: Accelerate to Net Zero with Tableau is a webinar or a conversation about how Tableau can help organizations and businesses achieve net zero. The speakers will help organizations “analyze corporate environmental data, reduce climate-related risks using data, and build a data-driven plan for sustainability.” This session will be live, but if you can’t make it, the recording will be available 24 hours after the session.

Then at 10am (PST) Google Cloud is bringing us (Tech) Work Safer Partner Webinar for their US audience only. Work Safer is a Google Cloud product that keeps businesses and organizations, well safer, and in this webinar you will learn about their security model that provides all of the protections against malware, ransomware, phishing, and other attacks. This is a great event to attend if you are looking to address your security needs and concerns, as well as getting support resources. You do need to use your corporate email address to register, aka you need to be a Google Partner in order to participate.

Our final event of the week, Total Economic Impact of MFA for Salesforce Products, is on Wednesday, December 15th at 9am (PST). This virtual event is here to tell you WHY Salesforce is requiring multi-factor authorization (MFA) for all Salesforce users and products beginning on February 1, 2022. I would hope by now you all know about MFA’s and this date, however on the off chance you are new to the ecosystem or are completely unaware why they are doing this, well it’s strictly for security reasons. Salesforce wants to protect their users, your business, and your clients data, which hey I’m all about! If you are wondering how or why businesses will benefit from MFA’s or just more about the transition, then make sure to register!

Recap

Last week in How to Ensure Living Wages for All Employees attendees learned about the concept of living wage, the importance of reducing poverty, leveraging good practices and examples, and highlighting incentives for businesses. Salesforce experts taught small business owners not only 3 tangible strategies to create high impact campaigns, but also provided viewers with easy to use formulas for calculating marketing ROI for emails, social media and virtual events in 3 Pillars to Create High-Impact Campaigns on a Limited Budget.

We had a bunch of events on December 9th, starting with What Admission Leaders Think. This session presented results from the Insider Higher Ed survey on how undergrad admissions fared, how to respond proactively to these challenges, and how leaders in this sector are adapting. In How to Get Started with Salesforce Backup and Restore, Salesforce’s Restore and Backup team demoed the new Salesforce security solution and taught viewers how to prevent data loss with automatic backups, recovering from incidents quickly, and satisfy disaster recovery and regulatory compliance. The other Higher Ed event, The International Student Recruitment Imperative — What’s Next for Business Schools talked about the challenges and opportunities that have arisen in the last 2 years for international students, and how Salesforce can help.

Of course my favorite event last week was Dreamforce NY! This day-long event was in-person for those lucky few and virtual on Salesforce+. With 12 sessions streaming virtually and over 50 more in-person, you know this event delivered! Our own Chris Stegall had an in-person session of his own and the day ended with a performance from the Black Eyed Peas! Make sure to stay tuned for our Dreamforce NY review video! Tweet us @mkpartners and let us know what your favorite event was!

Also, make sure to tweet us if you think there are any events worth mentioning and what event you are excited about this upcoming week. And, as always, we will see you in the cloud!
