Mark Your Calendars: Best Salesforce Events Oct 4, 2021 — Oct 8, 2021

Monday, October 4, 2021

Salesforce has a variety of events for you this week! They are still sticking to virtual events, so you don’t have to leave your house and put real pants on! So sit back, open up your calendars, and let’s get planning!

In our first event of the week, Salesforce will be joined by Emerald, a marketing platform company, to talk about key marketing takeaways from this year so that you can start planning for 2022. On Tuesday, October 5 at 9am (PST), 5 B2B Marketing Takeaways to Inform Your 2022 Marketing Plans, the speakers will teach you how to deal with uncertainty, balance change in regards to budget and priorities, evolve your marketing messages, and work harder with fewer resources. Salesforce will be discussing their findings from the 7th State of Marketing Report, which is where the key takeaway information is coming from. So if you are in marketing or need help with it, definitely consider signing up!

Seeing that we, as in the human race, are constantly on our phones and don’t go anywhere without them, our next event is very helpful! In Gathering Feedback through Mobile Devices at 11am (PST) Salesforce will talk about gathering feedback and improving the customer experience on mobile devices. The Winter ’22 Release “includes new messaging integration into Service Cloud, allowing surveys to be sent with SMS, Facebook, and WhatsApp” which not only makes your life easier, but also your clients and customers are more inclined to respond.

Then at 11:30am (PST) Trailhead Live is hosting Skill Up on Slack: Slack Basics as part of the kickoff to the Slack Series. This session will only be 15 minutes long, however it’s a great place to start with Slack if you already haven’t. The speakers will specially focus on the set up and some best practices for using Slack. So if you are slacking on Slack, then time to sign up!

Next — Wednesday, October 6, we are going to hear about Security in the Age of Work from Anywhere at 11am (PST). Experts from Salesforce’s Healthcare and Life Science department will talk about solutions in the government, security, and compliance sectors due to their employees now getting to work from anywhere in the world. This new workforce has resulted in a heightened regulatory environment, and most companies are concerned about visibility, monitoring capabilities, preventing data leakage, being innovative while still meeting privacy and compliance rules, and maintaining business processes under increased scrutiny. In this webinar, not only will they address these issues, but also talk about the latest trends in data security.

Our final event of the week is taking place way beyond the pond. On Thursday, October 7 at 2pm (CET) Trailblazer Connect Career Fair: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Poland will give newbies, and even veterans, in the Salesforce ecosystem an opportunity to network with employers. In order to attend this event, you will need to fill out an application, and entry will be based on a first come, first serve, as well as those who have a high number of Trailhead Badges (time to skill up). Additionally, not only will you need to update your Trailblazer.me profile, but you will need to submit an updated resume too. It’s also recommended that you brush up on your interviewing skills. Once you’ve done all of that, you will still need to wait to see if you have been invited to join. This event will have big and small companies alike looking to recruit and it’s a solid 3 hour long, so make sure to block off your calendar and get ready to start your career in the Salesforce ecosystem!

Recap

Last week our first event was an activity in the IdeaExchange. Submissions for Prioritization have closed and the winners have yet to be announced, so stay tuned for the results! Next, we had Salesforce Presents: The Top 4 Small and Medium Business Trends of 2021, which is pretty self explanatory. Then in K-12 Tools for Prioritizing Student Wellness viewers hear how one school district has been running their wellness program and discussed strategies to improve mental, emotional and social health by conducting 1:1’s, group sessions, classroom SEL presentations and events. Finally, Great Places to Work hosted Better Together: Equality of Representation, joined with World Wide Technology and NPower to have “an important conversation on equality of representation.” Tweet us @mkpartners and let us know what your favorite event was!

Also, make sure to let us know if you think there are any events worth mentioning and what event you are excited about this upcoming week. And, as always, we will see you in the cloud!
