Mark Your Calendars: Best Upcoming Events November 30, 2020 — December 4, 2020

Monday, November 30, 2020

I have a super fun week ahead for you! The holiday season is upon us and so are those virtual holiday parties! Seriously, it’s party over here and party over there! However, they all come later in the week, so at least you will have a few productive days. So sit back, open up your calendar, and let’s get planning!

Productive event number 1 starts tomorrow, December 1st at 9am (PST). In How to Scale Customer Experiences with Einstein the instructors will teach you how AI can help create personalized messages to clients across multiple channels. They will focus on the time it takes to go from Concept to Pilot to Production, how to keep the experience personalized, and how to scale each case and use that in Einstein. Additionally, you will see the value of using AI and how these best practices and tips work successfully around the world.

Another productive event takes place on the same day and time, but focuses on COVID-19. This live broadcast of Trust at Every Touchpoint: Perspectives on what COVID-19 teaches us about Cybersecurity Preparedness is hosting a multitude of guest speakers and panelists. Every business and organization is serving customers and employees differently, all which hangs in a fine balance. If you want to learn what you can do to protect your business, employees and customers, then tune into this meeting!

YAY finally a glimpse of Dreamforce 2020!! On Wednesday, December 2nd at 10am (PST) Dreamforce to You 2020is kind of kicking off with their keynote speech, featuring, of course, Marc Benioff. Mr. Benioff will be joined by a few guest speakers for an hour and this keynote speech will be followed up by DreamforceTX about a week and a half later, where all of our updates and sessions will begin. Make sure to register!

Later, at 5pm (PST), the Reno Salesforce Admin group is hosting the Winter Wonderland & Ugly Sweaters event. Wear an ugly sweater, bring a holiday themed drink and get ready to talk about the Winter ‘21 releases! In addition to talking about the releases, you will also have a discussion about what you find valuable in virtual Salesforce conferences and events and a game of Never Have I Ever Salesforce Worst Practices. This session will last for 2 hours, so maybe wear some sweatpants with that ugly sweater.

On Thursday, December 3rd at 11am (CST) the Oklahoma City, OK Salesforce Marketer group is hosting Market Cloud and Moveable Ink. You will hear about Movable Ink capabilities on a visual experience platform, reviewing integrations and getting to see a few examples of in market with a shared customer with Salesforce.

Then at 11am (PST) the Irvine, CA Salesforce Marketer group is hosting Salary Guide Analysis + Year-End Reporting. They will be showing you how to use Pardot data for the year-end reporting and a Salary Guide Analysis for Marketing Automation Professionals.

Another 11am (PST) event is An Inside Look at How Small & Growing Businesses Create Apps Fast with Heroku. Heroku is an app building platform associated with Salesforce Customer 360 that gives you the tools, languages and services you need to deliver apps and features that are successful! You will hear how MorganHR utilized this platform to launch their own app that helped protect their customer data.

Then on Friday, December 4th the Las Vegas, NV Women in Tech group is hosting Farewell 2020! Adios! Adieu! Ciao! (Virtual) at 5pm (PST). This is their 2nd meeting as a group, so if you are someone who is hesitant about joining events in a well established group, well now is your chance to join something fresh! They are going to go over the goals, get some feedback from the group and give away some swag, so make sure to RSVP!

So usually I don’t do Saturday events, but I couldn’t pass up this Holiday Happy Hour! the Irvine, Los Angeles, Pasadena, Long Beach, Virginia Beach and Sunneyvale Salesforce Women in Tech groups are teaming us to host this event for y’all at 6pm (PST)! There is going to be so much girl power in this virtual room, I’m not going to be able to handle it! You’ll be sharing this year’s achievements and things you are thankful for so either register through this link or through another groups link to attend!

Recap

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States, we didn’t have a lot going on event wise. However, we did have An Introduction to Vlocity Tools and Features which gave us a demo on a variety of topics such as Vlocity Cards, OmniScripts, DataRaptor and Integration Procedures. Then in How to Complete a Superbadge Successfully the instructor taught us how to approach the Superbadge Trailheads and things you need to consider when completing the badge. Finally, we ended with Integrate Chatbots with Einstein Vision using LWC where we learned about Einstein Vision to bring AI capabilities to the bot using LWC and learning more about LWC code in general. Tweet us @mkpartners and let us know your thoughts!

Also, make sure to let us know if you think there are any events worth mentioning and what event you are excited about this upcoming week. And, as always, we will see you in the cloud.
