Mark Your Calendars: Best Salesforce Events Jan 23, 2022—jan 27, 2022

Monday, January 24, 2022

I’m going to refer to Thursday of this week as thoughtful, and take-charge Thursday! The good old Salesforce ecosystem has so much in store for you, and of course, most of it is on Thursday of this week. So sit back, open up your calendars, and let’s get planning!

One of our non-Thursday events of the week is on Tuesday, January 25, and is a continuation from last week. Day 2 of Camp Success — Back to the Basics is an event teaching viewers about Sales Cloud. Day 2 activities and lessons will consist of integrations for Salesforce emails, reports, and dashboards, and automating workflow basics. Additionally, you will also have the opportunity to ask an expert, as per usual. This event starts at 10am (PST) and if you already registered for Day 1, then you are registered for this day too!

Our other non-Thursday event of the week is taking place on Wednesday, January 26 at 11am(PST). Roadmap to Net Zero for Financial Institutions is a Salesforce webinar focusing on those UN Sustainable Development Goals (you know, the ones I’m always talking about) particularly for those in the financial sectors. More financial institutions are committing to Net Zero, however most businesses don’t know how they are going to do so or even have a plan in place once this is announced. If your business needs help, then this is a great webinar to attend! Financial leaders will be joining Salesforce to talk about specific challenges this industry faces, what challenges are the most concerning, what steps you can take to solve these challenges, and how technology can help!

Thoughtful and take-charge Thursday is here! But now you must choose which event you want to attend as most of them start at 9am (PST) (I’m sorry I don’t control the start times). For starters we have 4 Nonprofit Trends to Watch in 2022. This 30 minutes webinar is a continuation from a conversation started all the way back in 2018, where Salesforce continuously surveys over a 1,000 nonprofits from around the world inquiring about what is happening in the nonprofit sector. This webinar will focus on how perception and reality are disconnected in terms of diversity, equality and inclusion, how companies are exceeding goals, how fundraising and marketing have been changed permanently (remember when we thought it was temporary… jokes on us), and how the workforce is getting work done.

Our second event, Higher Ed Dreamin’, is a brand new event in the Salesforce ecosystem! Starting at 9am (PST), this hybrid event is a great event to attend if you are in or somehow a part of the education sector. Not only will you have the chance to learn and network, you will get to hear from those in the Salesforce community AND in the education community! You have to be a HEAC member and speaker to be able to attend in person, but for the rest of us, we can still attend online. This event will go until 3:30pm (PST), but since it is a new event, it may end earlier or later.

Also at 9am (PST) (I feel like 9am on Thursday, January 27 must be like a sign or something), we have Post Holiday Blues? How to Turn Seasonal Shoppers into Loyal Customers. As most business owners whose industries rely on the holiday shoppers and their trigger inclination to sign up for memberships to get all of those good holiday deals, you know 50% of your members or shoppers will go dark after the holidays. So what do you do? Well, this webinar will teach viewers how to engage members outside of peak season, measure your programs success, and how to build your membership program.

We are ending our Thursday, with a short 11am (PST) webinar. Extend the Power of Analytics: Tableau CRM Spring ’22 Release is a short event to get a look at those Tableau Spring Releases. Not only will they cover Tableau, but also Revenue Intelligence, Repeater Widget, and Einstein, so def attention if this is something you need to know!

Recap

Last week we had Day 1 of Camp Success — Back to the Basics where attendees got guidance on Sales Cloud. Then in the Pathfinder Learning Series: Love to Live the V2MOM-Key to Career Success, we dived into all things V2MOMs, getting your new year off to a great start! For those who needed help deciding on what social media channel to use for their business, Curating an Engaged Audience in 2022: What Work, What Doesn’t Work, and How to Measure Success, taught viewers not only how to engage audiences, but how to build those audiences through media, metrics and methodology.

The New Era of (Re)Gathering: A Conversation with Priya Parker shared how to share a sense of purpose with your team(s), and how to rebuild gatherings in order to keep your team together. Finally, our biggest event of the month, Cactusforce, was both virtual and in-person this year, with MK Partners in attendance as a sponsor! Tweet us @mkpartners and let us know what your favorite event was!

Also, make sure to let us know if you think there are any events worth mentioning and what event you are excited about this upcoming week. And, as always, we will see you in the cloud!
