Friday, May 15, 2020

Man, do I have events for you this week! You might want to consider getting a bigger planner for all of these virtual opportunities Salesforce has in store for you. This week there are a lot of events happening on Wednesday, May 20th so clear up your schedule, sit back, open up your calendar and let’s get planning!

Monday, May 18th

Starting the week off, we will be virtually headed to Oregon for a late afternoon event. Portland, Oregon’s Nonprofit group is hosting their May NPSP Meeting on Monday, May 18th with guest speaker Jacqueline Fassett talking about how NPSP can help a development team with Major Donor Moves Management. If you need some help in this area, consider signing up.

Tuesday, May 19th

Are you struggling with engaging new prospects, especially since we’ve all been stuck at home for months now? Well on Tuesday, May 19th Salesforce is hosting Masterclass: Engaging with Prospects Digitally. If you are in marketing or are trying to recruit high school students to your college, I would attend this course.

Wednesday, May 20th

Here comes Wednesday, May 20th… are you ready? Starting at 9am (PDT) the Irvine, California Admin group is hosting Back to Basics: Your Intro into Flow. This will be a hands on learning experience and if you are already familiar with flow, then hey, they want to hear your ideas too! Additionally, if you are an OC Member you have a chance to win a free Salesforce Certification Voucher, aka gold! Just make sure you get the date to their next event, as this is a two part event.

Then at 4pm (PDT) we are heading back to Portland, Oregon, except this time we will be joining the B2B Marketers group for their Connected Campaigns event. Not only will they be addressing the basics, but they will be helping you with any of your Pardot questions! Sometimes Trailheads aren’t enough, you know? Kayvaan Ghassemieh, the Director of Pardot Product Management will be there to answer your Pardot questions, so make sure to come prepared.

Wow what a day right? Luckily for you, the Denver, Colorado B2B Marketers Group is hosting a Pardot Virtual Happy Hour! They will be talking about scoring and grading in Pardot, but honestly it will be a nice way to wind down and end your day. Just be careful, as it starts at 5:30pm (MDT).

Thursday, May 21st

To wrap up your week, the event Moving Towards Mastery: Report and Dashboard Features You Should Know is being hosted by the Vancouver, Canada Admin group. This event will help you learn how to utilize these tools successfully and help you master the range of reporting options available. David Carnes, the Founder and CEO of OpFocus Inc. will be the guest speaker and if anyone knows Salesforce, it’s him.

This last week had some great events too. Let’s see Salesforce Fundamentals: Build Your Salesforce Skills kicked off; how is week 2 treating you?

The Irvine CA Women in Tech Group helped us unwind with Jamies and Drinks? Yes Please!
